Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to paid subscriptions to ScholarBits Premium, operated by the Foresight Institute of Research and Translation. Payments are processed by Polar.sh on our behalf.

1. Free Tier

The majority of ScholarBits tools are free to use with no payment required. This policy applies only to paid premium subscriptions.

2. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain full access to premium features until that date. No further charges will be made after cancellation.

3. Refund Eligibility

3.1 30-day money-back guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your first subscription payment, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase. This applies to new subscriptions only, not renewals.

3.2 Renewals

Renewal charges are generally non-refundable. If a renewal was charged in error or you were not aware of the upcoming renewal, contact us within 7 days of the charge and we will review your case on a case-by-case basis.

3.3 Annual subscriptions

Annual subscribers may request a pro-rata refund for unused months within 30 days of the annual charge, provided they have not substantially used premium features during that period.

4. How to Request a Refund

Email us at hi@scholarbits.com with:

  • The email address associated with your account
  • The date of the charge
  • A brief reason for the refund request

We will respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed via Polar.sh and may take 5–10 business days to appear in your account depending on your payment provider.

5. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be issued if:

  • Your account was terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy
  • The refund request is made outside the applicable window described above
  • You have substantially used the premium features in the billing period in question and the request appears to be in bad faith

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will reflect any changes.
